TYNDALE NAMES NEW IMPRINT

In a step aimed at positioning itself for greater growth, clarifying its structure and recognizing the success of a key publishing team at the company, Tyndale House Publishers announced today that one of the company’s two non-fiction publishing groups is being officially designated as a separate imprint: Tyndale Momentum. Janis Long Harris, formerly Associate Publisher for Nonfiction reporting to Senior VP and Group Publisher Doug Knox, has been named as publisher of the imprint.

I feel the name really captures the energy and direction of this team.”
The Tyndale Momentum team has already had numerous publishing successes, including such recent New York Times bestsellers as The Boy Who Came back From Heaven by Kevin and Alex Malarkey; Quiet Strength. Uncommon, Mentor Leader and the One Year Uncommon Life Daily Challenge by Tony Dungy; Son of Hamas by Mosab Hassan Yousef, Bringing Up Girlsby Dr. James Dobson, The Cause within You by Matthew Barnett, and The Devil in Pew Number Seven by Rebecca Alonzo.         The team, which launched the SaltRiver line of thoughtful books in 2004, and the BarnaBooks line in 2005, will continue to publish a portion of its list under sub-brands. Both Tyndale non-fiction teams will publish titles in Tyndale’s highly successful One Year devotional line.

PROMOTE BOOK ON TALK RADIO

Many authors forget the power of being on Talk Radio to promote your message and your book. You don’t need a publicist to make that happen. Youdo have to have the information and be willing to put in some time calling and following up with the hosts and/or producers. I have a newly updated list of over 750 radio stations, programs, and hosts/producers along with all of their contact information. This would save you precious time and allow you to get started. Interested? Give me a call and I can answer your questions. There is a nominal fee of $75 for the spreadsheet of ‘gold,’ but the value is a lot more. Don’t forget, the talk show hosts need people to interview. Why not you?
