CAROLINA CHRISTIAN WRITERS' CONFERENCE

March 14-15, 2014 The website is up and, though still in progress, gives you lots of info about the upcoming conference. I hope you will plan to join us. DON PAPE NEW PUBLISHER AT NAVPRESS

Charlie Dokmo, interim CEO of NavPress, announced today that Don Pape will join NavPress as publisher on January 6, 2014. Pape currently serves as vice president of trade books and multimedia at David C Cook. In his new role, Pape will lead the publishing team acquiring and developing new NavPress resources that will be brought to market by the company’s alliance partner, Tyndale House Publishers

DIANN HUNT PASSES AWAY

Patricia “Diann” Hunt, beloved novelist, passed away on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, following a long, heroically-fought battle with cancer. She was 58. Diann was the accomplished author of 25 books. A Hallmark Channel film adaptation of her novel For Better or For Worse will air July 12, 2014.
