Signalman Publishing has announced an agreement has been reached with Alabaster Box Publishing of Orange Park, Florida to produce books for the Amazon Kindle e-reader. The first book under this partnership, "Mission Possible" by Deborah L. McCarragher, has just been released as a Kindle version.
"Mission Possible" is a very personal story written directly for the Christian whose spouse may not share the same passion for God. "I have found this book to be particularly compelling and encouraging for the Christian who struggles with issues of salvation and daily living within the household," stated John McClure, president of Signalman Publishing. "I think this book will speak to a lot of people out there in this situation," McClure continued.
The Kindle from Amazon is a new e-book reader which has rapidly gained popularity in the past year with an estimated 500,000 units sold to-date. This popularity was spurred on by Oprah Winfrey highlighting it on her show in October, 2008 and declaring, "it is absolutely my new favorite thing in the world!"
"Mission Possible" was first released in December, 2007 as a paperback. Through this partnership between Signalman and Alabaster Box, "Mission Possible" is now available to Kindle readers in the Amazon Kindle store.
