IGNITE YOUR FAITH CLOSING

Christianity Today International (CTI) announced today that it is redirecting its teen publishing efforts away from Ignite Your Faith magazine (formerly Campus Life) and fully to its Campus Life College Guides and website ( www.ChristianCollegeGuide.net). According to CTI editor-in-chief and CEO Harold Smith, "This was much more than a strategic publishing move; we want to clearly signal CTI's continuing commitment to Christian higher education and to the development of tomorrow's pastors, church leaders, and culture- makers.

"We are first and foremost a ministry geared to leaders and influencers," Smith said. "Helping committed Christian teens find the right school for their continued academic and spiritual development is a ministry that can serve their churches and their communities for literally decades to come."

Ignite Your Faith will cease publication following the Spring 2009 issue. The magazine was an institution, serving teens for more than 60 years, first as Youth for Christ Magazine, then for many years as Campus Life. The magazine marked three generations of believers and gave the evangelical church some of its best writers and communicators, including former editors Harold Myra, Philip Yancey, Steve Lawhead, Gregg Lewis, and Tim Stafford.

Offering expert advice on each step in the selection process, the Campus Life College Guide is published four times during the school year. The guides give parents and students an indispensable, practical primer on how to choose a Christian college, how to pay for it, and how to adjust to college life.

"Each guide gives readers an insider look at Christian higher education," says Editorial Director Chris Lutes. "Drawing on the wisdom of college presidents, admissions professionals, professors, and students, the guides help high school students navigate this often confusing--yet critical--choice."

Christianity Today International, located in Carol Stream, Illinois, is a not-for-profit communications ministry with 11 magazines and print newsletters, over 40 e-newsletters, and a website-- www.ChristianityToday.com--visited monthly by over 2.5 million men, women, and teens.
