GROUP PUBLISHING RESTRUCTURES

Group Publishing Forms New Units, Names New President

Group Publishing created several new business units this week, and named a new president. The Loveland, Colorado-based creator of Christian resources announced new units based on growing market segments, according to Group founder and chairman, Thom Schultz. The new units will serve children’s ministry, youth ministry, women’s ministry and church leadership. The changes will align various products and services under distinct ministry areas. For example, the new youth ministry unit will incorporate youth ministry magazines, newsletters, books, electronic resources, conferences and training events. Many current Group staff received new job responsibilities in the move. No employees were released. In fact, the company has over a dozen job openings. Schultz also announced that Rocky Gilmore has been appointed president of Group Publishing.
