The 36th annual Santa Barbara Writers Conference is June 21-26 at a beautiful oceanside resort in Santa Barbara, Calif. This year featured speakers include Ray Bradbury, Joseph Wambaugh, Sue Grafton, Jane Heller and Luis Alberto Urrea. But the heart and soul of SBWC are the more than 30 daily workshops offered in every genre, including literary and commercial fiction, nonfiction like memoir and magazine writing, poetry, screenwriting, playwriting, humor and marketing.
